The government ban on mobile phones came, dairy products and toys made in China. The latest development may result in a conflict between both countries on the WTO arena. The Chinese toys and dairy products were banned earlier. The ban was now extended by a few more months.
Since most dual sim mobile   come with IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) numbers, they are difficult to track in case of theft or any other incident. According to estimates, over eight lakh mobile phones without IMEI number, are being imported from China every month. They are much cheaper as compared to other branded phones.

Paktel is the largest mobile carrier in Pakistan, and China Mobile represents first major moves outside China where it has over 300 million subscribers.

New Delhi: Import of watch mobile phone   with unique identity code numbers has been banned, India’s commerce ministry announced.

“Import of mobile handsets with International Mobile Equipment Identify (IMEI) number or with all-zero IMEI is prohibited with immediate effect,” the Director General of Foreign Trade said in a notification.

IMEI – a unique 15-digit number – helps authorities trace the handset that has been used to make a call.

The Department of Telecom (DoT) had earlier directed telephone operators to disconnect services to subscribers who own handsets that do not have the IMEI code as china phone   posed a security threat.

However, since then, the Cellular Operators Association of India has developed a software for embedding genuine identity code – issued by the global association of telecom operators – on handsets without the requisite IMEI numbers.Wealth, Inc., a telecommunications supplier in China has unveiled the world’s first commercial solar-powered cellular phone. Samsung spilled the beans on the new P3 touch screen mp3 player   at the company’s CES 2009 press conference. As an update to Samsung’s popular P2, the P3 shares many of its predecessor’s features, including a 3-inch WQVGA touch screen, DNSe sound enhancement, audio and video playback, photo viewer, FM radio, voice recording, and Bluetooth capabilities such as phone pairing and stereo audio streaming.

Unlike the P2, the P3 Samsung uses a colorful new user interface dubbed “EmoTure” that emphasizes personalize. The body of the P3 is made from die-cast metal, available in black or silver, measuring just 0:39 inch thick. P3 so users get treated to Haptic feedback on the touch screen, offering a little reassuring vibration whenever a menu item is selected.

The P3 will be available in the first half of 2009 in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32 GB storage capacities. No final word on pricing, but current pricing P2 should give an idea of what to expect.Teac has added three new mini mp3 sunglasses   to its line-up. Meizu M8 vs. Apple iPhone

June 26th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No comments
Since the ciphone ’s announcement back at the Macworld Expo in January this year, there have been a number of following announcements from various manufacturers of their own iPhones, thereafter labeled as “iPhone Killers” by the media. It’s always flattering for Apple to have its own products listed as the standard for that area of the market, but is it necessarily true? In the case of the iPod it certainly is, as it’s currently the single most popular MP3 player in the world, Dominating the music scene with its partner in crime, iTunes. But the iPod has been out for 6 years and the facts and figures are there to prove its dominance and title of “the one to beat,” so how can xphone  not yet given exact release date to be given the same title?

A number of manufacturers that have submitted their own entries into the iPhone-killing-market include Samsung, with its F700 touch screen hello kitty phone , and its LG Prada KE850 mobile phone (also touch-screen), and the Neonode N2’s.

However, one phone that has caught my attention out of all of the ones announced is the Meizu M8 Minion, which certainly gives the iPhone a run for its money.

Today I’m going to compare the two phones and show you how phones china  is given a beating by the M8, but is not quite knocked out just yet-here’s to hoping Steve Jobs can convince enough people that Apple’s phone is more worthwhile than The Chinese company’s M8.

The Look
One thing many people will notice upon first glancing at the M8 is the similarity to the iPhone, both in terms of hardware and software aesthetics.

Meizu M8 (left) compared to Apple iPhone

In terms of hardware, apart from the 0.3 megapixel camera on the front of the M8, both meizu m8  have a similar style with a neat little slot for the headphone at the top and a single “home” button at the bottom of the face of the phone. Although the M8 is slightly smaller in height than the iPhone, and thus has a smaller screen, the overall widths and depths are virtually identical, with the M8 coming in at 105 (h) x 57 (w) x 11.5 (d) mm to The iPhone’s 115 (h) x 61 (w) x 11.6 (d) mm.

As far as software is concerned it’s a little hard to compare right now, as neither phone has actually been released for testing, but with the screenshots below you’ll see that the layouts are rather similar, despite Windows CE 6.0 running on the M8 where The iPhone is running the almighty OS X.

The Specs Comparison
Dimensions:
iPhone = 115 (h) x 61 (w) x 11.6 (d) mm
M8 = 105 (h) x 57 (w) x 11.5 (d) mm

Screen Size:
iPhone = 3.5 inches
M8 = 3.3 inches

Screen resolution:
iPhone = 320 x 480
M8 = 720 x 480

Input Method:
iPhone = Apple patented Multi-touch
M8 = Standard touchscreen

Storage:
iPhone = 2 models at 4GB and 8GB non-removable flash memory
M8 = 2 models at 4GB and 8GB non-removable flash memory

Camera:
iPhone = 2.0 megapixels
M8 = 3.0 megapixels plus one 0.3-mega pixels on front for video calling

GSM:
iPhone = Quad-band 2.5G
M8 = Unknown but 3G capable

Wireless Data:
iPhone = Wi-Fi (802.11b / g), EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0
M8 = Bluetooth 2.0 + TV-Out

Operating system:
iPhone = Mac OS X Mobile
M8 = Windows CE 6.0

At this point it’s unfair to compare battery life as we do not know for sure what type of battery is being used on the M8 and how long it will last during normal use, but we do know that the iPhone has a pretty poor battery life 5 hours of talk time (compared to a basic 7 hours on most other phones) and up to 16 hours audio playback (or a combination of the two). The iPhone does, however, contain a few more features (listed below) that clearly beat the M8, but some of the features available (sensors) are not 100% necessary, unless the battery life on the iPhone really is that bad, in which case they are.

One thing that does bother me about the iPhone is its poor camera. Okay, as one user had commented on AM earlier this week, anyone serious about photography would not be using a mobile phone to take pictures, but by the time Apple gets around to releasing the iPhone the 2 megapixel camera will already be out of date .

As far as its 2.5G standard, I honestly do not see this selling well in Europe, where any top of the range phone without 3G is not heard. Video calling, high speed internet, MMS and fast is what it’s all about over here and 2.5G standards just are not good enough. Apple should seriously consider giving the iPhone 3G standards before releasing it over in Europe.

The Price and Options
While you can take the above specs “war” with a pinch or two of salt, the pricing and options available for each phone are pretty eye-opening, considering what you’re being given. I think it’s so important to say at this point that the iPhone’s higher price tag can be somewhat justified given the iPod integration (better speakers), motion and proximity sensors, and the fact that we’re being given a tried, tested, and reliable operating system to use.

The iPhone comes in two versions, one with 4GB of memory and one with 8GB of memory, the price coming in at $ 499 and $ 599 respectively. However, the M8 has four options available.

As with the iPhone there are two memory models available at 4GB and 8GB, with those prices coming in considerably cheaper than the iPhone at $ 307 and $ 398 respectively, but there are also two other versions available without a built-in camera, Knocking the price down even further. The 4GB model here comes in at $ 193 and $ 284 for the 8GB version. As you can see, price-and options-wise there is one clear winner here.

Summary
All in all in the phones are pretty similar, but while the iPhone raises on eyebrow or two with its fancy spec sheet, can the same be said for its rather high price tag. The M8 is almost a “Windows” clone of the iPhone that comes in at a much cheaper cost, thus giving you more options (camera or not) allowing you to adjust the cost accordingly. If you’re after the iPhone but just can not afford it, the M8 appears to be there to clean up
image
If it’s music you’re after the iPhone is clearly the better option, but with a higher resolution screen and better camera, videos and photos will be more suited to the M8, so perhaps that is something to take into consideration before making a purchase of either. Once again, details are still unclear on the M8 so it’s probably not fair to compare the software side of things right now, but I have no doubt Apple Matters will bring them to you the moment they arrive.

So what do the readers of AM think? Is the M8 virtually a cheaper but equally competent version of the iPhone, or is it literally a cheap Ripoff? For those that seriously considered buying the iPhone, could you now see yourself changing your mind and opting for the M8 instead?

Chinese Wholesale Electronics – Why Chinese?

June 24th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No comments
OK, I’m not Chinese, I do not live in China (although it’s our country’s neighbor and there’s a big Chinese community here) and I do not speak Chinese. So why am I so passionate about importing china wholesale products rom China?

It’s amazing how China has now opened its doors to international enterprises and how it has now sought to expand its businesses outside. One of its companies even took over a western giant a while back. China used to be a nation closed off and a “sleeping giant” but is now wide awake and ready to take on the international business center stage to do a Beyonce Knowles number. Here are a few reasons why it’s difficult to ignore China these days:
â € ¢ Newspapers started carrying dedicated sections for wholesale products because the business world is Buzzing loudly about China.
â € ¢ Bureaucratic red tape is becoming less and less restrictive to trade, which means more freedom, more than ever, between Chinese and foreign traders
â € ¢ Even eBay is partnering with a Chinese company to gain more influence and connection in the Chinese Marketplace Almost everything has some parts or is entirely “Made in China” and Jacky Chan goes Hollywood!

“But I do not speak Chinese”, you say. Well, do not you think china electronic suppliers did not have that language barrier Predicament in mind? Of course they did! That is why they have English speaking staff and they themselves are already able to speak the international language, which is, well – English! The problem these days, as is the case everywhere else, is not what language to use when doing business with your suppliers, it’s how you communicate with them.

So why import fromchina iphone ? How do I communicate with Chinese suppliers?

China could be the next Japan. After the Second World War, Japan imitated western electronic products like televisions, portable radios, cars, etc. They were perceived as cheap until the Japanese innovated these china electronic wholesale , started giving them brand names and bested the rest of the western world in the first inventing things. We now forever admire Japanese brands like Sony, Honda, Toyota, and Nintendo to name a few. And whose jaw would not drop on the smart ASIMO android? China is following the same pattern of imitating, innovating and inventing electronic products that, who knows, might become the next big household name.

China has now been tagged as the world’s factory as they manufacture almost all types of products at incredibly lower cost than anywhere else in the world. That’s because everything in China is low cost, low-cost human resources, low cost of living, low cost of energy and a lower corporate tax burden. Every production outfit can employ cheap labor, but still produce superb quality products.

Importing consumer electronics from China is the way to go! Of course you can look elsewhere, but the point that I would like you to take away from here is that Chinese electronic products are manufactured and exported cheap without compromising quality.

Now, when contacting suppliers from China – go directly to suppliers, better yet, to the manufacturers and avoid middlemen as much as possible as the low production cost leaves a lot of room for them to jack the prices up Remember, your goal in buying from China is to “buy low and sell high”. Where do you find these suppliers and manufacturers? Thanks to the Internet, the problem of locating reliable suppliers from China is now passed on to, uhm, your fingertips. Doing business can not get any easier than doing it online. Search them out, contact them through email and I strongly suggest you phone them to “feel” the signs that you’re about to do business with the right people. I can not emphasize more the importance of really building good relationship with these suppliers. These wholesalers are not picky as long as you build nice rapport with them and they are really into exporting their goods to western markets. I can attest to the excellent customer support that my favorite supplier provides. They are prompt, polite and very accommodating.

Wholesale Sourcing Secrets to Keep You Cool and Dry

June 23rd, 2009 | Uncategorized | No comments
For me, these are the early days of Summer here in Hangzhou, the ones that torture you with seemingly random intervals of Hazy, hot, humid, suffocating air that and cling to you like a sheet of plastic wrap Oily. There are a few Merciful Sporadic moments of cloud cover and a drop in temperature … but it’s short-lived. One is faced with the fact that it simply wants to be a long, hot, and wholesale electronics this year.

Just like every year.

So, what better way to beat the unbearable humidity than to INDULGE in a little reading of some bone-dry material? That’s right, while I’m all about having a bit of fun and enjoying my down time as much as the next guy … it pays to invest a little of that time towards something that will give you the advantage, as you traverse the often – hazardous terrain of china wholesale trade industry.

My recommended reading for you this week is none other than the somewhat hard-to-swallow monthly newsletter series published by the good people at The Beijing Axis. Although it’s got a thick and slightly crusty exterior, there’s a valuable and tasty reward at the core, if you’re willing to curl up with this one and chew on it for a little while. Be sure to keep a nice tall glass of water nearby.

Of particular interest to me was the October 2008 issue, with a section titled the “China Sourcing Strategy” on page 14 Not exactly a lot of entertainment, but a very good commentary about the economic crisis, and its impact on the area of foreign trade in China. There’s a few words about the “immediate fallout” that could be attractive to the savvy wholesale china , since this spells opportunity for anyone who wants to capitalize upon a sagging market condition, in order to gain some leverage unprecedented. In other words, it’s time to wheel and deal, as China struggles to keep up the façade of a cool, calm, collected and empire-on-the-rise … but gladly takes a seat next to you at the bargaining table, if you ‘ve got something of immediate value.

Do not be fooled, China may appear to be the new bully on the block, but the truth is that she needs us as much as we need her. Global markets are far too intertwined for anybody to have the ultimate winning hand, and for anybody who wants to have a go at making it in the wholesale business, these bad times might just be the best ones to get started in. No need to work up a sweat, though.

No, it’s not a name for another airborne illness that makes the swine flu look like a case of the sniffles … it’s a trade show that wholesalers and buyers of china electronics wholesale should know about. It’s also coming up very soon.

So … you consider yourself to be a big electronics freak, and you love checking out all the new toys on display, as manufacturers and distributors are WHIPPING out the latest and greatest in high-tech gadgetry? If you’re going to be in buy direct from china wholesale prices early next month, you might want to check out the China International Consumer Electronics Show (SINOCES), because it’s touted to be the largest consumer technology show in the Asia-Pacific region. Among the 450 exhibitors, approximately 70.000 attendees are expected to join the fun. Over 300 media representatives will also be there, hailing from press outlets around the globe.
